The Chess Club is a recently opened club which aims to develop strategic skills and critical thinking. Students will partake in our mission to enhance both chess and academic performance since its practice not only prepares students for competitive and recreational chess play, but it also improves lifelong learning skills.
At the moment, nearly $30 students throughout Middle School and High School are active members, which makes the Chess Club one of EARJ Barra largest clubs. If you are interested in becoming part of this experience, you are welcome to join us. The Chess Club meetings take place in room 27, Ms. Priscila's classroom, the club advisor, on day I from 1:00 to 1:30 pm for High School students, and from 1:30 to 2:00 pm for Middle School students. We hope to see yout there!
