A new school year starts, and with that a new season of practice, games, and championships for EAR| Panthers. This semester there are soccer, basketball and cheerleading teams. Little 8 will be in November, and the athletes have a lot of work, focus, and discipline to be ready for this trip. Besides Middle School Little 8, there is also the High School championship called Big 4. Most of the students, who went to Little 8 "last year, are now in the teams to compete in Big 4. Basketball coaches Vicente and Caio, Bernardo and Gabriela; Soccer coaches Caio and Leo, Rick and Gabriela; and Cheeleading coaches Davi and Thais have high expectations for their teams.
Ms Claudia Araya, Athletics coordinator, has organized some matches over recess, with the cheerleaders support, where teachers and students can play . It's a good opportunity for the new students, like the 6th graders, to get to know the other students in upper school. Practicing sports is a great way of making new friends. Friends that you never thought you would have.
