Have you met Rose?

When you go for snacks at the Snack Shack you will probably notice a kind woman with a pretty smile on her face. That is Rose, always willing to help and spread happiness to make our days better. She is the guest for this edition’s interview. The interview was in Portuguese (free translation below). We hope you get to know a little about Rosângela Pereira!


PP. How long have you been working at EARJ?

RP. For 5 years.


PP. What do you like the most about EARJ?

RP. The people.


PP. Do you live close to here? How long does it take to get to EARJ?

RP. I live close to the school, it takes me an hour to go to my house and another hour to get back home.


PP. Would you like to learn English?

RP. For sure, it would help me and make my job easier.


PP. Do you like the food here? What is your favorite? RP. Yes, I do like what we have in the canteen, and my favorite food is pizza.


PP. What was your previous job?

RP. I worked at a store in a mall.


PP. Do you have children?

RP. Yes, I have a boy and a girl. Both of them are teachers.


PP. What do you do in your free time?

RP. I enjoy sleeping (laughs).


PP. What is your favorite series/ movie or book?

RP. I prefer the books, the last one that I read was called ‘The Shack’. I enjoyed that reading.


PP. Were you a good student at school?

RP. Yes, I was.


PP. What was your favorite and least favorite subject at school?

RP. My favorite subject was Biology, and my least favorite were Physics and Chemistry.


PP. What is your dream?

RP. To go to Disneyland.


PP. What message would you like to give to the EARJ student?

RP. I hope you can grow and become kind adults to spread happiness and goodness.
