How to fall asleep faster in 5 steps

Teenagers nowadays have some trouble falling asleep due the excessive use of electronic devices, the amount of stress from school, family, and/or others. According to the Hall Health Center of University of Washington, having a good night sleep is essential for your health, and in fact it is just as important as having a healthy diet. Having a good night sleep can improve concentration and productivity, maximize athletic performance, and also help preventing diseases.


Here are 5 tips that will help you fall asleep faster.


Step 1- Have a cold environment

People tend to sleep faster when they are in a cold environment


Step 2- Avoid being close to electronic devices

Before you go to bed, mute your phone and turn it upside down so it doesn’t keep flashing lights over the room. Also try to keep your phone as far as you can from your bed.


Step 3- Plan your day before you go to sleep

Before going to bed, solve everything you have to, so by the time are to sleep, you are completely relaxed.


Step 4- Have a dark environment

Having a darker environment will help you to fall asleep faster, you will be more focused in sleeping than watching your bedroom.


Step 5- No caffeine

Try to avoid drinks with caffeine, if you already have problems to fall asleep, caffeine it’s definitely not the way to go. Try tea
