This month’s review is the restaurant Hula Hula Poke in iFood with a total rating of 4.6. It is a restaurant that specializes in pokes, a bowl of rice topped with fish/meat/chicken and other goods.
Hula Hula Poke offers both the option of setting its own poke with the things that the client wishes, or the client can order the ones that the restaurant already offers. In my case, I ordered the Honolulu poke “P” Camarão empanado.
The total ended up being R$47,89 - the bowl cost R$34,90 and the delivery fee was R$ 12,99, which was a bit expensive in my humble opinion. The delivery time was not very long as it was around 50 minutes, which is the average time of most restaurants.
The poke arrived in 4 different parts, but nothing close to what was shown in the image below: the bowl with rice gohan and some spoons of cream cheese, the fried shrimp, and the leek straw and crispy onion in different bags. As I don’t like leek straw nor crispy onions, I only added the fried shrimps after mixing the rice with the cream cheese homogeneously.
After eating some spoons, I noticed that the rice was really soft and ended up really creamy after adding the cream cheese. On the other hand, it was indeed a bit too dry and plain. It had nothing special and the experience of eating it ended up not being very enjoyable. In general, it is a restaurant that I had really high expectations for, but it did not fulfil them.
